Technology for Life

Protect what matters against imminent gas hazards and flames.

130 Years of History

Johann Heinrich Dräger developed the Lubeca valve in 1889 and made it possible to control anaesthetics. Protecting, supporting and saving lives is at the heart of Dräger history. Mine rescue workers in Canada and North America have proudly called themselves ‘Draegermen’ for over 100 years.

Big Numbers

Dräger has grown into a worldwide, listed enterprise in its fifth generation as a family-run business. Dräger has more than 16,000 employees worldwide and is present in over 190 countries around the globe. Dräger technology is used all over the world and operates in 50 countries

Compliance

Compliance means much more than just following the rules. Their Compliance Management System (CMS) for anti-corruption, antitrust law, fraud prevention and dealing with potential conflicts of interest is divided into three areas: Prevention, Detection and Response.

Sustainability

Sustainability and responsible corporate management are key approaches at Dräger. Regular audits carried out by renowned rating agencies provide them with valuable feedback on how to design their processes to be even more sustainable and to adequately prepare for future challenges.

Dräger Polytron 8100 EC

Dräger Polytron® 8100 EC

The Polytron® 8100 EC is Dräger’s top-of-the-line explosion-proof transmitter for for detecting toxic gases or oxygen. It uses a high performance plug-and-play electrochemical DrägerSensor to detect a specific gas. In addition to a 3-wire 4 to 20 mA analog output with relays, it also offers HART®, Modbus and Fieldbus protocol, so it is compatible with most control systems.

  • Durable, intelligent and sensitive – the DrägerSensor®
  • Easy device management via digital communication
  • Three relays for controlling external equipment
  • Class I, Div. 1 rated explosion proof enclosure
  • Remote sensor enclosure allows sensor installation separate from the transmitter

Dräger REGARD 3000

Monitor various gases and vapors with the modular Dräger REGARD 3000 control system. Its multi-colored light signals the status of your gas detection system. The controller allows for up to three I/O modules: Analog Input, Relay Output, and Modbus Gateway. You can monitor up to 4 analog transmitters and control up to 8 relays.

In the event of an alarm, every second counts – but it is also useful to be able to see the status of the gas detection system at a glance. The Dräger REGARD 3000 makes this possible with a bright LED status light around its edge and a built in horn. Different colors clearly indicate: everything is in order (blue), there are malfunctions (yellow), or alarms are pending (red). It can be seen immediately whether the alarm is active (flashing red) or has been acknowledged (continuous red light), so everyone on site is informed aware of the system status and daily checks are made easier. It comes with an integrated horn and is SIL2 capable.

Advanced measurement and monitoring technology.
