EV Chargers We Sell, Install and Service

We partner with four manufacturers chosen because they solve different problems. Here’s an honest look at where each one fits — and where it doesn’t.

Our lineup spans the range on purpose: a network leader built for public site visibility, a price-competitive option for high-volume deployments, a modular platform built for scaling fleet depots, and a heavy-duty manufacturer with over a century of electrical engineering behind it. Each one solves a different kind of site — we’ll help you match the brand to yours.

Quick-Comparison Table

BrandBest ForPower Range
ChargePoint Public network reach + site-host tools Level 2 – 62.5 kW+ DC
Autel Energy Price-sensitive multifamily / DC Up to 19.2 kW AC; 60–240 kW+ DC
Kempower Depot / fleet sites that scale Modular DC, satellite-based
ABB Heavy-duty, transit, pantograph 22 kW AC – high-power DC + HVC

ChargePoint

ChargePoint operates the largest EV charging network in North America, which matters more than it sounds. When a driver opens a charging app looking for a station, network reach determines whether your site gets found. ChargePoint also offers the deepest set of site-host tools — access control by group, dynamic pricing, waitlists, utilization reporting, and fleet scheduling.

Need to Know: ChargePoint hardware carries a required network subscription. Excellent value if you need the network and the software tools. If you’re charging a fleet behind a gate and don’t need public visibility, ask us about lower-cost alternatives.

ABB

Winn-Marion has represented ABB for decades across our industrial automation, instrumentation, and electrical businesses. The EV relationship isn’t a new vendor agreement — it’s an extension of one of the deepest manufacturer partnerships in our company. ABB brings more than 135 years of electrical engineering to charging hardware, and their heavy-duty and pantograph solutions remain the reference point for electric transit.

Need to Know: Premium industrial-grade hardware priced/engineered for durability & scale (not the lowest cost). ABB is also more system than a small commercial or single-site retail install typically needs, as it’s engineered for heavy-duty & transit-scale deployments.

Kempower

Kempower’s architecture separates the power cabinet from the charging satellites. One cabinet feeds multiple dispensers and the system allocates power dynamically to whichever vehicles are actually drawing. In a bus depot where twelve vehicles plug in overnight but never all charge at peak simultaneously, that means you buy substantially less power capacity — and less utility service upgrade — for the same operational result.  This also means expansion is a satellite add (not a new service).

Need to Know: The modular architecture takes more up-front design work than a plug-and-play unit. That’s where we earn our keep — sizing the power cabinet correctly against your real duty cycle is the whole ballgame.

Autel

Autel entered EV charging from the automotive diagnostics world and has been aggressive on price-to-performance. Their DC lineup delivers competitive power at a lower capital cost than legacy manufacturers, and their AC units are well built for the money. For a property owner deploying twelve Level 2 ports across a multifamily complex, the per-port savings are real.

Need to Know: Autel is a newer entrant in North American EV charging than ABB or ChargePoint. That’s precisely why buying it from a distributor with local service technicians matters more than buying it online.

How We Help You Choose

We don’t get paid more to sell you one brand over another, and we’ll say directly when a lower-cost option will do the job. The selection conversation usually comes down to five questions:

  • How much power does your service actually have available? This constrains everything else, and it’s the first thing we measure.
  • Public or private? Public sites need network reach and payment processing. Gated fleet depots often don’t.
  • What does year five look like? If you’re going from four ports to forty, modular architecture saves you from rebuilding.
  • What’s your duty cycle? Overnight depot charging and fifteen-minute corridor turns are different machines.
  • Who’s fixing it in year three? Whatever you buy, someone has to service it locally.
