Position: Automation & Controls Electrician

Location: Arnegard, North Dakota

Winn-Marion is a Manufacturer's Representative, Distributor and Service Provider of Instrumentation and Controls to the Industrial marketplace, and is seeking an experienced automation and controls Journeyman Electrician for its Arnegard, ND service branch. This candidate will be responsible for fulfilling the electrical requirement of our product installs at client sites. Most of the work is low voltage wiring and there is no trenching. Must be licensed in North Dakota or reciprocal state, or, be able to obtain license before employment.

The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications:

  • Must be able to terminate both high and low voltage equipment and cable/wiring.
  • Must have mechanical and electrical knowledge of components relative to automation.
  • Must be able to trouble shoot equipment and systems for electrical malfunctions.
  • Must be able to identify different types, gauges, and color of cables and wires.
  • Read blueprints to determine the scope of work and order the correct materials.
  • Assemble and install electrical equipment.
  • Install and maintain grounding systems for all equipment and structures.
  • Must be able to bend and cut conduit using hand saws, hand tube bending equipment, as well as power and hydraulic cutting and tube bending devices.
  • Must be able to install and modify cable tray using hand tools and power tools.
  • Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 60-lbs.
  • Adhere to national and state electrical codes.

Position Description

Candidates need to enjoy teamwork and be reliable, hard-working, and adaptable to different working environments, including extreme weather environments. Main responsibilities include the safe and careful wiring/installation of company products at client sites, working with our Service Technicians, and providing maintenance support for SCADA, EGM, RTU, analyzers, gas chromatographs, and process transmitters. Job duties may include identifying safety risks, pulling wiring through specified pathways, and testing electrical components for continuity and proper voltage readings according to specifications. Other duties may include equipment calibrations, troubleshooting, repairs, tank measurements, H2O measurements, radio installations, antenna adjustments, and other communication duties. Technical Field Service Trainer

Position: Technical Field Service Trainer

We are seeking a Technical Field Service Trainer, preferably with experience in product and process training and knowledge of ABB Totalflow Measurement and Automation products.

Job Duties

  • Coordinating and administering product training and materials to new and existing service personnel.
  • Product training will consist of products currently in use by the company and introduction to new products being put into service.
  • Process training will consist of industry best practice and company SOPs.
  • Training will conducted both in a classroom setting and out in the field and will be delivered either in a group setting or one-on-one.
  • Must be able to motivate, guide, and train employees to maximize their efficiency, their abilities, and their product knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus.

  • Must have strong communication skills and use those skills one-on-one and presenting in large groups. Must have 1 - 3 years prior training experience with technical products.

Position: Project Billing Specialist

This position is responsible for creating invoices for our service department. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills. The Project Billing Specialist is responsible for researching and verifying data on internal customer service reports submitted by the Service Technicians. Research will include confirming that parts and labor are accurately reported and entered into the accounting database. Project Billing Specialists are responsible for ensuring that all the invoicing requirements of our customers are met. Qualifications:

  • Intermediate experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Demonstrated clerical skills.
  • Familiarity with Epicor Prophet 21 a plus.
  • Associates accounting degree or equivalent experience; two years accounting courses at college level preferred. Prior experience with accounting software.
  • One to three years job related experience.

Duties:

  • Reviews internal customer service reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Creates customer invoices for parts and labor service work using Epicor Prophet 21 accounting system.
